This track is about a crying out to an ancestry that one has been dislocated from. An ancestry that guides our daily lives in our lived religion yet we don't have the family tree to know it by name. It asks that we are never forgotten by the keepers of our lineage. The refrain is the lineage answering letting us know we will never be thrown to the wilderness and left alone.

One of my favourite albums in the last couple of years. Malcolm Jiyane is an unselfish bandleader who gives all the musicians space to shine, so it presents very much as a band album. Very accessible, but has deceptive depth and gets better with every listen.
